So happy that I got to keep the tradition of midnight releases with my sisters for New Moon.

Not to mention...the movie was FABULOUS. Does it make me a predator if I have a huge crush on Taylor Lautner?

Let the Wild Rumpus Start!

So I know that Where the Wild Things Are has been getting mixed (if not poor) reviews. HOWEVER. I would like to issue a personal statement on the emotional magic that I think this movie creates. Jordan and I went on opening night at midnight, and had set up one of my friends with one of jord's on a blind double date. Everything about the night was going wonderfully...until I was rocked by the emotions evoked by this movie. But I kinda liked it.

I think one of the main things is that most people go into the movie expecting a light-hearted children's film. I was saved because I went in with zero expectations and so my empty palette was pounced upon by the story. It basically just portrayed all of the emotions of being a child in a visually-simple way. I don't know how to explain it. And I am not a movie critic, but I thought the movie was fabulous. I cried through 80% of it. Yikes.

Welcome back Upper Eastsiders...Who knows, maybe third time's a charm. But let's not break out the bubbly just yet. So it was the season premiere of Gossip Girl (season 3) tonight...so we pulled a little crew together to celebrate. Dresses, headbands, and tights required of course.

So I normally DETEST shopping for jeans...it is a grueling, self-depreciating task that usually results in me telling myself to never eat again, yet then choosing to indulge in a piece of molten-chocolate cake to help me feel better. HOWEVER. The other day, I had no choice...I was in desperate need of jeans and FAST. These little beauties were my saving grace:

Labor Dayyy

So has it really been a month? yiiikes. and I still haven't even blogged about summer. I am a slacker to say the least. Actually I'm not though cause school is started and I'm taking 18 credits and working! It's busy to say the least. However...Jord and I took a quick break from life and bee-lined for an out-of-state getaway to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Jackson Hole. Oh yeah...the trip was less than 48 hours long.
